Valentines Day

I know, I know... but better late than never, eh? This valentines day was pretty cool. It was like any ordinary day in that Jason went to work and I did my usual things. I knew something was coming for me, though. I kept waiting and waiting and acting like I didn't care. Then around 4 a delivery man came to the door. He brought Katelyn and I a box from the PajamaGram company. Inside was some pajamas for me and some pajamas for Katelyn. I didn't take a picture of Kate's, but this is what mine looked like:

It came in this cute little hat box withe a little potpurri bag for your drawers and a DO NOT DISTURB sign. The pajamas themselves looked like this:

Yeah, I know- my husband is cute, right? Katelyns came in her own little box with a stuffed puppy and a note from daddy. She was so excited and kept saying, "prize" all day. As in "surprise" because I told her that daddy sent us a surprise. He also came home with 8 of those red velvet cupcakes from the cupcakery that I heart so bad. He is amazing. Guess what he got from me? A card. A CARD!!!

Bag Tag and My Life as Is

Well. I guess I have been "bagged tagged."

The Rules...

  1. Take a picture of your bag
  2. Show a picture of ALL the contents in your bag... NO CLEANING OUT FIRST!!!!
  3. "Bag Tag" five people

Heres what's in my deceptively small bag: George Strait concert ticket, Phantom ticket and program, tithing slip and envelope, bag o' goldfish, delicious 5 gum, random papers, candy wrappers ( i go to the movies alot), checkbook, wallet, coughdrops, change, random receipts, and a condom. I feel compelled to explain. My daughter found this prophylactic and brought it to me and my purse was the first place I thought to hide it. I am not some wierdo that has trysts that I need to be prepared for-although maybe I should.

I suck at this

Yeah, I really do. Just a quick note and I really will try to post more later. I had hopes to do a good long one all decked out with pictures today, but my daughter ended up in the E.R. this morning. She is having her respiratory issues that she frequently has. She is fine, but spending 6 hours in the hospital isn't fun and Jason had to deal with it himself (I had to teach YW, which I didn't end up doing). She got a breathing treatment and some chest x-rays and they pretty much told us to wait it out and that it was viral. They sent her home with a prescription that, naturally, tastes like caca and she is not willing to take. She is not herself and that stinks for us. Also, I went to see George Strait last night and it was soo fun. He is great. Josh Turner opened. Yummy. He was awesome, too. I shall try more later when I am not completely exhausted.
