2 things I am excited about...

1) my baby has peed on the potty twice!! The instances were a week apart, but A for effort, right?

2) Twilight. Need I say more?

Any ideas or methods that worked for you mommies as far as potty training consistency? When I constantly remind her she gets frustrated and rebels. Too young? Going about it the wrong way? Opinions and ideas greatly appreciated.

Yes, I am very excited about both those things. What worked for me? Gumballs! I bought a little machine and he got to put money in and buy a gumball after he went potty. It is so hard to not constantly remind them (I am very guilty of that) but it seems to work better if you just let them figure it out. I am getting ready to do this potty training thing all over again so if and when you figure out what works for Katelyn, pass that info on to me.

I did the same things natalie did with the gumball machine except I used m&ms. I'm not a fan of kids and gum. Also, my big thing is not to be in a rush. Don't force it. I don't like to clean up accidents (a few every now and then are fine). I like them to be ready. And this is just me, but if they are not staying dry at night, they aren't ready. I'm not a pull-up mommy. But really, whatever you are comfortable with.

With Makaila, same thing. If I made her go try she would throw a fit and then get off and pee on the floor. I just waited a few more months and decided I had to be ready too!! We did the potty treat but what really worked for us was telling her her cousins did it everytime we took her. she got to where she would say I need to go potty like... and run to the potty! She really looks up to her cousins, we also did something else that worked but you will have to call me on that one!! Please do, it was really so easy.
