The Big Day!! Well, the first of 3 Big Days...

So as promised, here is a post about Jason's Graduation. For those of you who don't know what his school situtation is, here it is.

Jason just finished his associates degree in Political Science. He has 2 more years at UNLV (maybe) until he gets his Bachelors. After that he has 3 years of Law School. He hopes to be a Constitutional lawyer. His dream is to be a judge. I see Politics in his future, although it doesn't thrill me. Anywho, he has a long road ahead, but we are very proud of this accomplishment. The light at the end of the tunnel isn't as blurry now.

Back to the Graduation itself. Yeah, it was last Monday the 19th, which you might recall as being hotter than my mom (and she is HOT!!). It was 109 or something sick. The thing started at 6 and the graduates were supposed to be there at 5. I just went with Jay as I wanted to get there early and save seats. Well, we got there at 4:30. They didn't open the doors until 5. As all of you probably know, the Thomas and Mack does not offer much in the way of shade. I wanted to kill myself. It was about that time I started to be really grateful that I didn't have Kate. That would have sucked. They finally opened the doors and I was able to get a bunch of seats saved. Jasons family soon joined me and the thing started. I have to say for as much as I hate graduations, it wasn't that bad. The program was short and sweet. Soon they started calling the names. My hubby was very close to the front because his last name starts with "A" and he was in the high honors section. Here he is taking his turn.

After what seemed like 5000 names it was over and we waited outside for him. He looked so cute in his little hat.

It was a good night. We went to metro pizza afterwards and it was its usual level of delicious. I am so proud of you Jason. Keep up the good work. We love you. As a side note, I have misplaced my bloody camera. I can't find it anywhere. I am not able to take any pictures lately at all because Todds camera broke recently. Please pray that I can find it. We just bought it in October and I don't want to have to buy a new one.

First things first. Yes, your mom is HOT! Congratulations Jason! Very exciting! I am sure it feels great having finished and with high honors. That is awesome. Metro Pizza is the best thing in this world. Thank you for mentioning it as I sit here starving. I think we should plan a girls night out and go there.

Seriously, if it was hotter than Momma Garber I don't think I could have lasted out there. LOVE YOU MOMMA! Second, I'm so glad that graduation wasn't boring, but even more jealous that Jason gets to walk across the stage. At David's all they will do is say "Please Recognize The College Of Business", and then David will stand up with all of those other students. LAME! Anyway, WAY TO GO JASON! I love you both and your ear lobes! :)

It feels awesome to have finished.

/that's what she said.

Anywho, you forgot the part where before we went to Metro Pizza, we waited at effing Macayo's for 30 minutes, and then they told us we'd have to wait for 30 more minutes even though they initially told us 25 minutes.

THAT would've made the post even funnier.

Thanks for all the congratulations... I feel a bit like a a kid being congratulated for passing the 7th Grade, even though he's still got 5 years of school left. But lest any of you think I don't appreciate it, I do.

Very much.
